On 9 February 1919 the Weekly Dispatch (London) reported that ‘The Air Office have unbent so far as to allow Harma Photo Plays the use of one of the Handley-Page machines at the Kenley aerodrome, Surrey (together, of course, with pilot and mechanics for their forthcoming production The Warrior Strain.’ The same publication added, 16 March 1919 that ‘What would have been inconceivable five years ago has just come to pass – the Prince of Wales has taken part in a film play. His Royal Highness on Thursday [13 March] spent more than an hour before the kinema for scenes in The Warrior Strain and The Power of Right, which Harma and Company, Limited, a British firm, are producing’ with the report noting that the scenes were filmed ‘in Vincent Square, Westminster’.

Following his basic training Sydney Wood marches with fellow army cadets in Vincent Square, Westminster. The view is into the south-east corner of the square with St. Mary's Church dominating the background.
