The Daily Mirror reported, 17 June 1997, that ‘Filming of the new £45 million James Bond movie was held up yesterday when a stunt went wrong and started a blaze. Special effects to “machine gun” 007 star Pierce Brosnan’s BMW 750i started a fire which engulfed three other cars. None of the stars of the stars of Tomorrow Never Dies was on the set at Brent Cross [Shopping Centre], north London.’
