Director: Ernest Morris

Release Date: January 1962

The Harrow Observer, 27 October 1960, reported that scenes ‘were shot on Common-road, Stanmore, on Monday [24 October]’ and that the film ‘is now in its final stages’. The report continued that the film’s “Cormorant Manor” was in fact ‘a temporary name to a large house with an impressive entrance in Common-road’, adding, ‘other location shots for the eight scenes in the day’s shooting were at Rickmansworth-road and near the Merchant Taylor’s sports ground.’ The reference to Rickmansworth Road is rather vague for such a thoroughfare was found, fairly locally both in and out of London, in Pinner, Harefield, Northwood, and Watford, while the Merchant Taylor’s location was outside of London.

The release date for this film given here is totally speculative, for while it appears to have been completed in 1960 there also appears to be no record of it being shown in a cinema until October 1965. Presumably this is not true.
