The 30 May 1935 issue of Kinematograph Weekly recorded that ‘At 8.45 a.m. on Wednesday’ Laura La Plante ‘was on location in Piccadilly Circus wearing a thin sleeveless frock (and was the morning cold?). While the unit moved location from Piccadilly to the [Albert] Embankment, Laura rushed to Waterloo Station to wish “bon voyage” to [American producer] Jack Warner and later dashed off to the Embankment location.’
