Director: Anthony Bushell & Reginald Beck
Release Date: February 1951
On 1 September 1950 the Kensington Post reported that filming had taken place at ‘No. 5, Barons Court Road, West Kensington, on Thursday night last week’. The report continued that ‘The sequences, which included actors Rex Harrison, Anthony Dawson and Pat Wayne, started at 8 o’clock an took about two hours to complete.’ It is interesting to note that there is no meaningful shot of Harrison in these scenes. The report added that ‘After director Anthony Bushell declared himself finally satisfied with the last retake, the company packed up and drove off to the Lyric, Hammersmith, to film Anthony Dawson committing another murder.’
