To date the only contemporary reference to filming in London appears to be the not too interesting note in the Acton Gazette, 3 October 1968, reporting that ‘The company have been filming outside Wormwood Scrubs prison.’ The film’s producer, Michael Deeley, later recalled in My life in Cult Movies, 2009, that ‘Michael Caine’s conference with his band of crooks [was filmed] on the eleventh floor of 93 Albert Embankment, premises owned by Stanley Baker and me.’
