An unseen and perhaps lost film. On 31 August 1932 The Era reported that ‘T. Hayes Hunter, who is directing the current “Sally Bishop,” took his unit to Putney on Saturday [27 August], and in the presence of a large crowd of spectators succesfully put over the love sequence between Sally Bishop (Joan Barry) and Arthur Montague (Emlyn Williams). This sequence, which calls for a Thames Embankment background was favoured with brilliant sunshine and some excellent footage was secured.’
