The Scotsman, 25 April 1949, reported that ‘Yesterday and to-day film cameras were being turned on the Law Courts in the Strand’ where the production ‘company was filming interior and exterior scenes for “No Place for Jennifer.” In the main hall of the Law Courts to-day there were many comings and goings as “barristers” – all extremely well-dressed – pass the cameras. This was the last day of their work there. They could not film action is the actual Courts. These will be reconstructed at the studios.’
