Director: Kenelm Foss

Release Date: December 1921

An unseen film. On 6 October 1921 The Bioscope reported that ‘Mr. Foss is one of the many producers who have experienced some difficulty when filming familiar and unfamaliar London. Despite that fact that when taking scenes in Piccadilly Circus for “No. 5, John Street,” he chose a Sunday morning, crowds quickly gathered, and it was not long before the artists – Zena Dare and Mary Odette – were recognised. However, by careful manipulation Mr. Foss managed to keep the crowd out of the eye of the camera, and the scenes were successfully recorded.’ The same publication continued, 22 December, that ‘The scenes of London, both East and West, have been well taken’ but that ‘the bomb throwing incident in Park Lane’ is unconvincing.
