Nobody left California for the production of this film but somebody dug up some ancient stock footage to plot the Bowery Boys visit to London.

Victoria Station

Capture 1

Presented as the arrival of the Bowery Boys at Victoria Station.

Westminster Bridge

Capture 2

The tram is displaying LCC livery which survived until 1933. The Bowery Boys, with back projection, then discuss the history of the Houses of Parliament.

Tower of London

Capture 3

The Bowery Boys also deliver a potted history of the Tower of London.

Trafalgar Square

Capture 4

I presume there must be some visual clues here to date this footage of Trafalgar Square. The Bowery Boys discuss Nelson and his victory at Trafalgar.

Buckingham Palace

Capture 5

The Bowery Boys also discuss the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.

Charing Cross Road

Capture 6

This shouldn't be here for the Bowery Boys do not discuss it but this view north along Charing Cross Road is too pleasing to pass up.
