On 1 April 1948 The Stage reported that ‘Collin’s Music Hall has been turned into a film studio this week. A Tempean-Grand National unit is shooting scenes for “Date With A Dream” a new British musical.’ Collin’s was seriously damaged in a 1958 fire but the facade still stands in Islington Green.
