On 15 March 1945 the Kinematograph Weekly reported that ‘Compton Bennett has been on location this week with the Sydney Box-Ortus unit on “The Seventh Veil.” Permission was granted to film scenes for the first time in the Royal College of Music, Kensington, and Ann Todd played whilst the pupils were actually working. This is the first time the interior of the college has been filmed. Friday [9 March] saw the unit shooting at the Serpentine in Hyde Park. The picture is expected to be finished towards the end of next week.’
